Education • Convening • Thought Leadership
The Southern California Real Estate Council is a 501(c)(3) organization advancing real estate education, dialogue, and public-impact leadership across Southern California and beyond.
Mission
SCREC brings together educators, industry leaders, students, civic partners, and community stakeholders to support real estate education and address the challenges and opportunities facing our communities.
We believe that the built environment is shaped by leadership, knowledge, capital, policy, and collaboration. Our role is to help connect those forces in service of the next generation.
What We Do
Partner with higher education institutions to strengthen real estate learning, mentorship, career pathways, and student access.
Create forums where students, faculty, industry executives, public leaders, and nonprofit partners can exchange ideas and build relationships.
Explore the issues shaping Southern California’s built environment, including housing, affordability, resilience, capital markets, technology, and community development.
Programs
SCREC can support mission-aligned initiatives that are educational, convening-oriented, and public-impact focused.
Helping broaden access to real estate education and leadership development opportunities.
Connecting students and emerging leaders with experienced professionals across the real estate ecosystem.
Convening cross-sector discussions on the most important issues affecting communities and the built environment.
Supporting practical, policy-relevant, and industry-informed work that helps prepare future leaders.
SCREC is designed to work with universities, industry partners, civic organizations, and donors who share a commitment to education, leadership, and stronger communities.
